MethodPreparación

  1. Dice the onion and mince the garlic. In a big pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant.
  2. Stir in the oregano, paprika, black pepper, salt, and tomato paste. Cook for a minute, until the tomato paste darkens.
  3. Pour in the marinara and chicken broth, then stir in the heavy cream. Bring it up to a boil.
  4. Break the lasagna noodles into pieces and drop them in. Simmer until the pasta is tender.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the Parmesan and mozzarella. Let it simmer on low about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the soup turns creamy.
  6. Ladle into bowls and top with a scoop of ricotta and a little cilantro.
Maritza's note:Nota de Maritza: The pasta keeps drinking up the broth as it sits, so if you're reheating leftovers, add a splash of broth to loosen it back up.La pasta sigue absorbiendo el caldo mientras reposa, así que si recalientas las sobras, agrégale un chorrito de caldo para aflojarla otra vez.
